Nat Geo's Photo of the Day

National Geographic has and will always be one of my favourite websites. There's always something that can cheer you up on a mundane office day. The beauty our planet posesses is enormous, and Nat Geo attempts to bring some of that to the fore. This is what made me smile today:)

Ice Climbing, Croatia

The long retention of low temperature favored the icing of small Sopot waterfall on Medvednica mountain. The red sky comes from the city lights of nearby Zagreb. Sopot waterfall is the only one in the area, therefore alpinists from Zagreb use every chance for climbing it and staying in shape. Photograph by Luka Tambaca
